We grew up with looms, spinning wheels, pottery wheels and a wood working shop in our house. There was plenty of opportunity for creative expression and play!
In high school we were both the "arty" type, and while we both may have tried our best to conform here and there, it was clear that our lives we're going to take us on plenty of unique adventures!
Some fine art studies, some in depth textile training, some interesting crafty experiments, plenty of trial and error, and travelling adventures, and here we are, all grown, but hardly grown up. Fern is in the west, Willow is in the east. Sometimes we switch places, sometimes we pause for a moment in the same place.
But wherever we are, we are usually making something.
We thrift, forage, create and generally seek out materials that inspire us. Music festivals, markets and craft sales are where we often sell our wares, connecting with people in our communities.
